What Prediction Market Analytics helps you review
Who this tool is for
Coverage depends on supported books, markets, and user location
Upside prices sports markets on Kalshi, Polymarket, ProphetX, Novig and Crypto.com, which run as prediction markets or exchanges. DK Predictions, Sleeper Markets and PropBuilder are among the other platforms Upside prices.
Coverage varies by sport, market, platform, state and account. Prediction markets are not open in every state, so check that a platform is open to you before you rely on its price.
Upside scans 30+ sportsbooks, DFS apps, exchanges, and prediction markets across the product, but each tool has its own coverage rules and data availability.
What to check before making your own decision
Read the price as a chance
A contract pays $1 if it wins. Before fees, its price in cents is the chance it needs to win to break even, so a 50 cent contract is the same as +100 and a 60 cent contract is the same as -150. A fee adds to your cost, so you need a higher chance to break even.
Compare it with the sportsbooks
Open the Odds Screen to see the same bet at Kalshi, Polymarket, ProphetX, Novig and Crypto.com next to DraftKings, FanDuel and the other books. Taking the best price for the same bet is called line shopping.
Check it against the fair price
In the Sports Betting Optimizer, choose the prediction market you use as your book. It ranks that platform's prices against a no-vig fair price, so the bets that pay more than fair sit at the top.
Confirm the price and decide
Open the prediction market, confirm the price and the money available at it, and decide for yourself. Upside shows the math. It does not place trades for you.
Before relying on the data
- Does the prediction market still show the same price, and is there enough money offered at that price to cover your stake?
- Is the contract the same bet as the sportsbook line you compared it to, with the same game, side, line and settlement rules?
- Does the price still beat the fair price after any fee the platform charges?
- Is the prediction market open in your state and on your account?
Common Prediction Market Analytics questions
Which prediction markets does Upside price?
Upside prices sports markets on Kalshi, Polymarket, ProphetX, Novig and Crypto.com. Coverage changes by sport, market, platform, state and account.
Which Upside tools cover prediction markets?
The Odds Screen shows them next to every sportsbook. The Sports Betting Optimizer lets you choose Kalshi, Polymarket, ProphetX, Novig or Crypto.com as your book. +EV Sniper and Steam Chaser scan Kalshi, Polymarket, ProphetX and Novig. Whale Watch shows large orders waiting on prediction markets such as Kalshi, ProphetX and Novig. Low Hold and Arbitrage pair their prices with sportsbook prices on two-way markets.
Do Kalshi prices include fees?
Yes, in the Sports Betting Optimizer. With Kalshi as your book, its odds include Kalshi's fees, so the EV shown is your net payout.
Does a +EV price mean the bet will win?
No. A +EV price pays more than the fair price says it should, and it can still lose. The edge only shows up over many bets, so size every bet as one you can afford to lose.
Is Upside a prediction market?
No. Upside is not a prediction market, exchange or sportsbook. It does not accept wagers, trades or orders, and it does not place them for you. It shows prices and the math behind them, and you decide what to do.
